Beth MacAller has joined the YMCA of Orange County team as the new Associate Development Director.
Beth comes to us with nearly 25 years of experience in fundraising, philanthropy, and the Y. Beth started as a YMCA day camper at the age of 7 in her hometown of Rochester, NY. She began working at the YMCA at the age of 16 as a swim instructor and after graduating with a BS in Recreation & Leisure Studies, she joined the Y professionally as the Director of Group & Family Programs at the Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts in 1996. Beth ended up moving back home and worked for the YMCA of Greater Rochester for over 16 years in the capacities of Program Director, Executive Director, and the Director of Community Partnerships and Foundation Relations.
Beth, her husband Steve (also a long-time YMCA professional), and their two daughters moved to Los Angeles in 2015 after both accepting Executive Director positions with the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles. Beth considers herself a grassroots person who is dedicated to the YMCA Mission and loves to raise funds that help afford ALL the opportunity to experience the life-changing magic our programs have to offer.
Please welcome Beth to the YMCA of Orange County Family!
